I have tried it once for 3 weeks and during that time i suffered severe stomach cramps, i am afraid to try it again in case the same happens again, i have not been on any kind of birth control method in nearly a year and before that i was on the depo, might this be affecting me now.??

I love NuvaRing!
I have used NuvaRing for two years. I love it
. I switched to the ring after a bad experience with the Path. I am sooooo happy with the ring. I suggest that you try it out a little longer. Make sure though that you don't insert the ring too far, that can be the cause of some of your pain. It's ok if it sits right inside the vagina, it doesn't have to be all the way to the cervix.
The only thing I have noticed with the ring is that (well for me, maybe not for all) I have to always wear a panty liner, because the ring causes the vagina to stay moist.
Try it again
. Let me know if you have any questions.

I agree with the others. If it's giving you any kind of discomfort/problems stop using it and check with your doctor. There's other BC out there.Comment
