Hi,
Sorry I'm a little stressed out as I couldn't find this out on the net. Here's what happened:

I had an accident 5 days back (the condom broke). It was the 23rd day of my periods and I went ahead and took the dosage of Pill 72 correctly following up with one more after 12 hours.

Today (an hour back) , again the condom broke (can u believe the odds). I was wondering if I should take the "Pill 72" again. My questions are:

1. Is it safe to take it again so soon?
2. Do I need to take it when it's the 28th day (my periods are irregular sometimes 35 days)
3. What if i don't take the Pill 72? When should I expect my periods?

Please please reply as soon as possible,

I do believe that you can take the pill again. Obviously, you would have to see the doctor again to get it anyway, so they will let you know if there would be a problem. They say that you should not take it on a regular basis, but I believe it is ok to do it a few times. I am not 100% certain though.

Whether you take it or not, it may be hard to know when your period will start again. The EC can throw off your cycle and make it unpredictable. So if you don't take it and do not start your period on time, it could simply be due to the last EC you took.
