any suggestions ?
am currently on the pill and my periods have been out of whack even with taking it on time and everything, as far as i know i am not pregnant. my fiance and I are looking for a different method of birth control other than condoms. we have looked into IUD and everything but i am curious to see what other women may suggest. -
Personally , I tried pills and they made me feel sick all the time . I looked into all types of birthcontrol and decided on NuvaRing ( vaginal ring ) and I have liked it a lot. Like all medicines it has its flaws and side effects , but it has worked wonderfully for me . My period is just one or two days a month , craps are less ... I haven't put on weight due to it . And its pretty comfortable . I do have to say that infections are possible , but that seems to be more likely if you take it out a lot . Personally , I havent had any issues , but I just keep it in all 3 weeks , minimalizes contact with foreign bacteria ( its all in the reading really ).
You are looking for suggestions and , as I said , I like NuvaRing . You might want to look into reading more about it . Some women dont care for this type , but if you are seriously exploring your options , take a look. -
thanks marie, i am thinking about the nuvaring but i am a but skeptical about it..... i mean i have been reading that weight gain if common, and i am wondering if there are any other side effects that i should know about. I am still looking at other methods of birthcontrol, because havig a baby is not an option right now for us, but i am wondering if weight has to do with the effectiveness of birthcontrol? thanksComment
