is it normal to have the hair around my anus to be removed with a brazilian wax?

Is the hair around my anus supposed to be removed when i have a brazilian wax? Someone let me know quick, I have an appt. today for my second wax.

my friend told me that this girl that she knows goes to a lady that will do that for her. but i haven't gotten it done and i don't really know anyone else that has so i'm not sure if EVERY person will do this.

i have been gettin the brazilian since january. all was well until the last two times. i have been having really awful allergic reactions. the last time she used a different wax than normal and i reacted for about a week - serverly itchy skin down there, bumps, extreme redness and pain!. and i just went back two days ago and she used a new wax. it has really taken a bad turn. the redness is far worse and the itching is insane. not to mention i can barely walk without pain! I dont know what the cause is and i was curious if any of you other women out there have had similar reactions? i know i wont be going back for a while until i find out why this happens to me! although i have to say i love it and the brazilian wax is addicting!

Brazilian Waxing

I do Brazilian Waxing everyday for men and women (more women). And the main reason that the women come is because their significant others ask them to. However, all my customers are happy that they did it because its a cleaner feeling once its all done, not to mention that their mate always is much happier. If you are looking for a way to "suprise your man" and "spice things up" then this is a sure start in the right direction. *EDIT*

I've never had a Brazilian before but I'm excited about getting one. Approx. how much do you normally pay for a Brazilian wax? I found a few sites saying you shouldn't pay less than 50, but some places can be 100 dollars. The few places I have found in my town have priced Brazilians at 38 and 45 dollars. Do Brazilian prices generally vary by area this much....I don't live in a huge city. Would it generally be enough to call and ask how long the waxers have been working or is there some kind of certification they should have? I just don't want to end up with a bad Brazilian waxing experience.

I have never been waxed but was thinking of it. I presently shave and its ok I guess but would love to be able to go longer between shaving. Call my lazy I guess. I was just reading this thread and wondering do most of you get it completely removed ? I think id feel like a little girl again with no hair on my *****. And I am not honestly sure my BF would like it. I presently keep a strip and I like the look of that.

Waxing is the best!

I normally get a professional waxing, but sometimes I do some at home maintenance in between appointments. I've tried a lot of different things like trimmers, hair remover creams, shaving etc. but have had similar problems with quick regrowth.

I prefer to use at home waxing kits. There are a lot of different brands to choose from, but I prefer using Nad's just because their product is completely water soluble, which makes it really easy to clean. A lot of other products need the aide of baby oil or special removers, which is a total pain!

I also like Nad's cause they really do care about their consumers. They are really good at getting back to you when you post a question on their facebook *outbound link removed* and are genuinely interested in knowing how their products are working

They recently started making pre-waxed strips like other brands on the market. I haven't tried them yet, but I believe they can only make the process speedier
