i think you should do what makes you happy. if pleasing your man is it that then go for it. my boyfriend doesn't like it all bushy, he says it doesnt look clean. but he does like hair so i keep it neatly trimed up. he says shaved turns him off because it makes him feel like he is with a little girl. the hair is what makes a woman, a woman. i couldnt agree more. -
I'm not sure how my boyfriend and I got into the discussion a couple of nights ago but he said he would perfer shaved completly. So I'm trying it. We'll see how it goes. I am nervous about the itchyness. I've never had a guy give me an opinion on the subject. If it helps to get him off I'm willing to go there. He would for me if thats what I wanted.Leave a comment:

I used to use baby oil for some reason it kinda made it feel better but it still sucked. =/ And I am NOT going to wax that place no way. lol. talk about pain. I wonder if there's nair for it.. Haha they do say the less you wear.. the more you need nair!I shave mine all off except a patch on top. I think I'm just going to shape it and leave a strip. I need to use something else besides a razor because when it grows in it itches and it's driving me crazy. I honestly don't want to use creams unless it's specifially for that area.Leave a comment:

Yeah it just depends on the guy.
My bf at first likes it all shaved so I used to do that but it HURTS when the hair on the mound grows back for me - get those painful red bumps. :[
So I told him too bad haha and I just shave every where besides there [but I keep it trimmed of course not all bushy!] like those outter lip skin thangs. lol I dunno what they're called. labia majora or something.Leave a comment:

I prefer to be smooth and shaved.
My boyfriend likes it but has asked for a 'landing strip'
He's not getting it. =PLeave a comment:

I think that's a good point Jenn33. I believe that it's largely a matter of personal style.
Probably in the 70's, if a woman shaved that area, she'd have been considered a freak. Today she's just normal.
Styles change and the biggest benefit of today is that you have a choice. In todays world you wouldn't be judged by having a bush or nothing at all.

I am new here. I am a 33 year old wife and mom. Probably one of the few women my age that has a huge "70s style" bush. My husband is completely turned off by shaving. So Im cool with it. I often wonder what has made so many turned of by pubic hair on women. Go back a few decades and guys just werent so grossed out by a bush on a girl. Times and attitudes have drastically changed on this subject.Leave a comment:

I like my s/o shaved all around the vagina with a little patch of hair above it (neatly trimmed). For many years I shaved my entire area down there which my wife liked, but once when we had sex, I had a little "stubble" that was extremely uncomfortable to her clit. She said it was "sticking her". From that point forward, I shave my balls, but I leave a patch of very closely trimmed hair above my penis. This way, when I have sex its soft on her clit if it comes in contact with her.
From a guys perspective, the balls shaved thing is nice because it adds a significant amount of sensitivity to the situation.
From a woman's perspective, to shave around the vagina is nice too because it is so much easier and cleaner to maintain during her period if she uses pads. My wife doesn't like to use tampons because she feels it's more natural to use pads, but it (as you ladies know) can make a of a mess. With the hair shaved down there, it's just real easy to clean up.
My wife was a "natural" kinda girl initially, but I begged her to shave and she did it once on a whim just to make me happy (isn't that sweet?)...anyway, when she had her period she was like OMG...this is AWESOME and much easier to keep clean...so that's the way it's been ever since.
Form meets function...
