Vaginal Itching After Protected Sex? Help...

Hi, I've been wondering what's happening with my vagina,

me and my boyfriend had a protected sex like two days ago and the day after that, my vagina feels itchy, and when I try to look at it by using a mirror I can see white thing but not liquid (my vagina is normal, dry, I'm not having vaginal discharge FYI), it's like a flesh inside the vagina but really soft I can take it off with my finger and it's itchy, I wonder what is it, and I still feel the itch til now. My boyfriend used condom everytime we have sex, and 2 days ago he was a bit rough.. and I think the condom is the dry/non lubricated one..I cant really rmember but all I know it's not that oily..

could the itches and white thing be possibly caused by rough sex / dry condom that he used, or am I allergic to latex condom?? Help cuz I dont know, or am I getting an STDs? Please help but dont tell me to go to see a doctor, I wanna know what is happening first... have you experienced like this before?? How to cure this itches? the itches not that bad but sometimes it is annoying.....it gets better after I pee and wash it with cold water... but help............

thank you for the inputs... I really appreciate it

You can't know for sure what is happening unless you see a doctor. But you can rule out what is/isn't happening.
If it was rough sex, try the same type of condom/situation but make him be gentler.
If you didn't have enough natural lube, have rough sex with a lubed-up condom
And if neither of those work (AND only if you have another kind of BC and are sure your partner is "clean") try rough, dry sex without the condom.
Don't know how you can stop the itching. If none of the above remove or alleviate the problem, you'll need to see a doctor.

Thanks for the respond, Little.. I will see the doctor but can it be cured by nature? I mean what to do, I cant wear my pantyliners for now as it makes my V area very sensitive and itchy, have you experienced like this before?

definitely I cant have sex for now cuz I'm afraid it will make it worse, I think sex will make it worse or even it will irritate, though. so I'm trying to find some ways to treat this.. I take antibiotics like amoxicillin, I hope it gets better. I only wonder if this sounds like BV cuz it is odourless, no liquid vaginal discharge, no pain when I pee, but I can see white thing inside my V area and it cause the itchiness I think.. idk what it is... *sigh*

Why are you on amoxicillin? Are you ill? Don't take antibiotics unless you're specifically prescribed them; it's very bad for you.
In theory, IF this is a sex or condom-related issue, it should go away while you're not having sex. But until you figure out what's causing it, you can't know how to treat it. That's where seeing a doctor helps.
Also, please don't start other threads or post to other threads with a similar question. It's against our site rules.

We don't allow outbound links either.
A bacterial infection is almost the opposite of a yeast infection. Have you seen the commercials for the little devices you can buy that tell you what kind of infection you have? If you can get that in your area (I think Monistat makes it; I've never used it) it would probably help a great deal and be less expensive than a doctor.
Never, ever EVER take antibiotics without a prescription. That's how you can make yourself VERY sick. They kill the good bacteria in your body along with the bad.
For bacterial vaginosis (BV) you could use antibiotics (but ONLY with an Rx.) For a yeast infection, you WANT your vagina to have bacteria. There has to be a good balance between the yeast and the bacteria in your vagina. Check out the feminine hygeine aisle at a grocery store or drugstore. They should have everything you need for treatment there but only once you find out what it is you really have.

argh sorry, but thanks I'll try to look for Monistat hope it helps to diagnose, but I think it is yeast infection so far cuz it is odorless.. Do you think I should stop douching with feminine wash? but i feel better after I wash it with a feminine hygiene or Betadine liquid wash.

            THanks Little

Yeast smells. DO Not douch that is really bad for your body's natural balance. When you use panty liners are they the deodorant or scented kind? If they are stop, get some unscented, non-deodorant.

Little is right, Never put yourself on antibiotics, they won't help a yeast infection, in fact they will Give you a yeast infection because they kill off the natural flora of the intestines and the vagina. Start taking acidophilous and bifidous (get them at a health food store) to restore your intestinal balance. You can use plain yogurt in you vagina to sooth the irritated tissues.

You may well have developed a sensitivity to the condoms, the spermacide, or to lube, or any of the other products you've been sticking in there. Your girl parts can take a lot sexually but you have to treat them with care as the sensitive tissue they are. Get into the doc or a clinic and get tested. If you test clear on yeast and bacterial infections then start looking a sensitivities. The ONLY effective way to deal with those is to avoid the irritant. That will mean leaving your vanginal area alone (no douches, deoderants, soaps, scented stuff, condoms, no anything) until it heals and then trying one thing at a time to see what happens.

In the meantime if it is a reaction benedryl may help relieve some of the itching. You may have to use dry non latex condoms, as long as you are well aroused they should work fine. If you use a lube look for one with no scent, flavor, or parabens (remember your chemistry? methyl, propyl, butyl, iso?)

Hi Wildchild, thanks for the response!

this doesnt smell, the other website tells me that BV smells while yeast doesnt... if it is not yeast, so what is it I'm having? the pantyliners I use is unscented one, but since I'm having this itch I cant use pantyliners it burns.. my vagina gets really sensitive...

I think I misunderstood of what douching is... I think I've never done douching, I only wash my feminine part with antiseptic like Betadine which says it can cure or prevents from bacteria, fungus, etc.. yknow, betadine body wash.?.. I washed it after everytime I have sex, sometimes with femine wash.. is it wrong?

well I am now having yoghurt inside my vagina, I dont apply it too deep, I applied it on the place where I see the white thing.. I think it feels better but how long should I keep the yoghurt inside me?

and I've been eating yoghurt today, I think it helps? I feel better tho still can feel the itch or its just me..?? Is it safe to have this yoghurt inside your vagina for a long time?

last time I had sex, my partner used the dry/nonlubricated one I think.... I can feeel the condom was dry/ not so oily.... now I dont know what kind of it anymore since we trashed the package already.... so I think the problem is the dry condom... but it caused me to get this infection, it doesnt bleed and no liquid vaginal discharge, doesnt smell.. but I can see the whitey and it feels itchy down there... I have no idea!

Some of the white stuff can be dead skin. Yeast infections definitely smell funny. Not completely fishy; they just make your vagina smell strongly and differently than it normally does.
A good rule of thumb is not to stick anything up into your vagina or into the folds unless you are sure you have a problem. For washing, just run your sponge/loofah/washcloth lightly over your vulva and rinse VERY well. Soap irritates the very sensitive skin down there.
When I have a yeast infection, I take a bath with baking soda mixed in. It's very soothing. One of the issues with your vagina during a yeast infection is pH imbalance; baking soda is a base and will normalize you. You can also make a paste of the baking soda and apply it like you're applying the yogurt. It'll burn at first (it's a chemical reaction, after all) but feel much better after you soak for a bit.
