black period
hi my concern today is that on Monday i started my "period". I put in quotation marks because for the past three days I have been bleeding dark brown blackish blood. I know that dark blood is basically the ending of your last period but normally that will happen for only a day, or not even a whole day half a day. Another thing that is weird about this "period" is that I don't feel any pain at all. I didn't even know that I was bleeding until I went to the bathroom to pee in the afternoon at work. Also normally my boobs would swell and hurt if touched, but this time I don't feel anything at all. Can someone explain this to me thanks. -

I had this once but it only lasted a day. My doctor told me it was simply 'old blood'.Originally posted by janiquehi my concern today is that on Monday i started my "period". It could be a few things. Have you had any changes in lifestyle, food or relationships(work or personal) lately? Not asking you to answer them here, just things for you to think about.
I would call a health clinic and ask to speak with a Nurse if it is not diminishing. -
Dark blood is normal no matter if it's the beginning, middle, or end of your period. Also, your cycle will change at different times in life and is rather random. Your hormone levels have probably changed a bit and that is why your symptoms have also changed. I really do not think there is anything to worry about.Comment
