Ih ave a tilted uterus as well, over the years with all the doctors and nurses i have seen for check ups, smears etc some of them have mentioned it, others havent. if you think you have a tilted uterus but arent sure, ask them if they can tell you next time they do an internal. the only problem i have is sometimes they find it hard to get the speculum and certain sexual positions can be painful. -
I could never really tell that i had one, it was only when a doctor told me that i realised. i had always noticed little things like certain positions during sex would hurt, usually if it hit the cervix deeply and sometimes pain on putting a tampon all the way in, those kind of things i always thought the pain was normal until i was told this was why i was experiencing it. its perfectly normal to have a tilted uterus though, as in it doesnt cause major problems.Comment

Don't know if this response is misplaced, as I am running on little sleep and slept horribly last night, but my first trip for a Pap and whatnot at the gyno went rather painfully ... it was fine until they got to the pap itself and suddenly the discomfort was unbearable. They tried to make it quick, and then said my cervix is tilted to the left ... their left or mine, I don't know. But it seemed to make sense why some sex had been painful ... but it shouldn't be a big deal in the long run, according to them.Comment
