Hello,
I am experiencing some very strange symptoms that my Dr. cannot pinpoint the cause of. Perhaps someone here might have a couple of suggestions regarding things to look into. At first I started having irregular periods. I was not too concerned and figured it would work itself out. But then I started having light bleeding on a consistent basis. I have been bleeding at this point for about two months. My Dr cannot do a pap because of the bleeding. He prescribed progesterone which regulated things for about a month, but then it was right back to the same bleeding on a consistent basis. He also performed an ultrasound which he said everything looked normal. Most recently I have been having severe abdominal pain in addition to bleeding. It is only on the left side and it is so severe I am doubling over with pain. Any ideas about what I might need to look into? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Does your Doctor know about this pain? The abdominal pain? I would get back down there and tell him if he doesn't..

Pap smear is one thing but abdominal pain on one side is totally different and the bleeding may have nothing to do with gynocology, rather something wrong internally.

Not that I want you to worry sorry, but something is not right, I think.

Find a female GYN - sorry but he doesn't have the same plumbing and having a female doc for female problems does make a difference. Just as a man with 'male' problems would get better understanding from another man.
