    Spotting brown

I haven't had my period in a year! I know, I know- but the gyno says this is normal- that there's nothing wrong with me but he puts me on birth-control and I can't afford it sometimes. So it's been a year.

Now- about 2 weeks ago I started having brown spotting and it's just that-spotting. I took a preg-test and it was negative. Does anyone know of any home remedy or something I can do to get this going?

Get some fresh ginger root. Peel about an inch, chop it a bit and let it steep with your tea. Youare essentially making a deconcoction so cover the mug with a plate and let sit for 10 mins. Then drink.
Or grate(use a zester or really fine grater) the fresh ginger and make some gingerbread or ginger cookies. Be generous with the fresh ginger.

Ginger promotes bleeding and could work as quickly as an hour but take for a day or two to get it well established.

If you are on blood thinners be a little less generous with it.
