    Urination/turned on/tingling sensation that won't go away

I'm pretty nervous about this. Any help would be so appreciated! About three weeks ago I noticed an intense tingling sensation around, what I first thought urethra, but now vagina. It feels like it's in between the two, around the g-spot area. It feels like the only way to relieve it is to urinate or masturbate, but they don't. It gets so intense that I can't focus on anything else. The two things that feel like they would alleviate it, seem to make it worse. When I masturbate, I notice it maybe two hours after, and the entire next day. When I urinate it's immediate, and starts to throb.

After my regular doctor dismissing a UTI and a yeast infection, I went poking around down there, and noticed a little growth in my vagina. Not sure if this is normal? I've never done such an investigation, so nor am I sure if this is new.

I'm 19 and have never had sex, and have never been to a gynecologist. Being shy, and very embarrassed about this, I've been thinking about just wring all my symptoms down (similar to this post) and handing it to a gynecologist instead of explaining it. Would that be incredibly weird? To just walk in with a sheet of paper with this kind of stuff on it?

The symptoms come and go day by day, again worse after masturbation and urination. Do anyone have any idea of what this could possible be? After some Googling, could a polyp be causing all of this?

If what you've noticed is sort of raised, textured area, this is perfectly normal. But keep exploring you should know that area of your body just as well as any other.

It's not, it's like the end of a snakes tale. Same texture as color as the vaginal walls, it just sticks out a little bit.

I'm not concerned with that as much as I am that weird sensation, unless there is a connection.

Gynaecologists deal with this stuff all the time - I don't believe you really need to go see one, it does sound like a UTI to me, but if your doc is not listening perhaps go to a specialist. Also, if you feel there is a physical change, a growth, there is no harm having it looked at. It is a good idea to be registered with a gynaecologist anyway. I'm sure they see embarrassed women all the time and are used to putting women at their ease.

Try to talk about it rather than just hand over a piece of paper - yuo really have nothing at all to be embarrassed about. If you need a security blanket of sorts have the written list in your pocket but please, for your own sake, try not to use it. You don't need it. This is your vagina you're talking about - not a nasty, shameful thing, but a beautiful and perfectly natural thing - and it is the gynaecologist's job to keep it beautiful. And don't forget - 51% of the entire world has one! They really are very popular

If it is a UTI you can search here for advise on how to alleviate the symptoms.

NB: Your g-spot is inside your vagina - I think perhaps you mean your clitoris (?)

Thank you a bunch Iseulda. If this doesn't get better by the end of the week, I'll make an appointment (and will try to keep the list in the purse, hah).

The weird thing is, though, that the doctor did check my urine, and even I did with one of those home kits and they both came back negative. And I do actually mean my g-spot, up on the top of the inside of my vagina. I've Googled these sort of symptoms, and nothing has come up. Frustrating.

            Hello

Just to let you know, even when they do the dipstick and send the urine away to the lab and it comes back clear it doesnt always mean you are full of infection (i know, whats the point in trying) the reason i say this is because i have had 3 kidney infections that have gone undiagnosed in the past and i have a water infection at the moment and even though my results are normal i know i'm not! might be worth mentioning that when you go to the docs. Hope you get it sorted soon

I am having a similar thing except it doesnt hurt to pee or peeing doesnt relieve it. But its a constant urge to masturbate. Its sooo annoying!!!!! I wish it would go away.

Definitely sounds like UTI to me.. I've had one myself several times.. a couple of times just during mono (which I didn't have until well into adulthood). From my experience, antibiotics and a couple glasses of cranberry juice a day seem to be the most helpful. Cranberry is actually great for the digestive system as a whole, so I recommend it to anyone that suffers from UTI's on a semi-regular basis.

But of course, I'm not a doctor, so I would recommend seeing one again if antibiotics don't clear up your issues. Just like Iseulda said - don't be embarrassed! I've certainly talked to my GP/Gyno about stranger things than this, and she was completely unphased. I can't even imagine the strange stuff they must see almost every day - something like this is probably an everyday, ordinary occurrence to them. Besides - they want you to be healthy and happy, which is something they can't help you with unless you're able to tell them what's wrong.
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself... where the heck is the ceiling?!

when you masturbate does it go away? and does that tingling only happen in the morning and then it goes away? or just when you get up? because that what happens to me
