PCOS
Ok so today I went to the doctor and I got my yearly pap smear done and everything, but I haven't had a cycle since the end of january and now mmy doctor thinks that I may have PCOS. and I am worried. I have to schedule an ultrasound and get some blood work done but the more I read the more I think that I have it. I mean with the whole eating more, weight gain, excessive facial hair. I mean really I have dark hairs on my chin and a blond mustache..... :-( Its just not something that I ever thought about. I just dont really know what to do about it. I hope that I will be able to have kids eventually but I dont really know if that will happen now. I just needed somewhere to talk about whats going on with me. Thanks for reading. -
Hello sweet, thanks for sharing and I am sorry that you are going through something that is not within your control.
PCOS, is thought to be heriditory, and based on hormones excess but they also believe that surgery is not required in most instances it's a case of balance of eating correctly.
I have sent you a PM with a link ( you know it's against the rules), that offers other people that have the same and whom talk to each other about it.
I hope this helps you, take care.

Thanks CW, The link was really helpful and I have been doing a lot of research. Maybe I am wondering if its why I have been so seriously depressed as well, I mean I know that things have not been going well at all recently and everything with me but maybe its making it worse than what it should be. I just hope that my doctor and I can get to the bottom of this and see what will help the most.Comment
