Hi ny name is Jill I've been having on going problem with my period for seven years now at first they thought it was my gallbladder I had every test that there was out there my gi doctor ruled out it is not my gallbladder it has to do more with my period. My OBGYN does not want to remove my ovary's Someone I want with told me if I don't have my ovary's taken out I will still end up with all the gas bloating when I was on my period or not I also hear some people don't have your ovary's taken out I see my OBGYN tomorrow I will ask her why she does or does not want to remove my ovary's. Any feed back would be great. Thanks Allot Jill -
Hi Jill, nice to see you again.
Are you still having a hysterectomy?
Ask your Doctor if it could be IBS, stressing over the past 7 years trying to determine what's wrong will cause IBS - which results also in bloating, constipation and the opositve......, and can be eased via eating patterns for one thing.
Ask them to explain it further to you when you go and see them.
If they don't feel that you need your Ovary's removed then take their word for it... And, you may wish for sex one day and a child you never know even at 45.
Take care.

I just wanted to let you know that I went to a gi doctor he told me I might have IBS but if I did would have the systpoms all of the time I only got them when I was on my period. My OBGYN did surgery two years ago to check to see if I might have endometriosis it turned out she did not find any. Also I had every test out there done and it is not my gallbladder. I been to two different gi doctor they say it not my gallbladder and they ruled out that I don't have Ibs it has to do more with my periods Thanks JillComment
