    Period every three weeks??

I am a 35 yo who has never been on birth control. My periods have always run like clockwork & suddenly, about three months ago, it became somewhat erratic. It swiched from every four weeks to every three and is a day longer than before but much lighter. I have an OBGYN appt coming up but thought I would see if anyone had any insight into this issue. Thanks.

Not all women have their cycles four weeks apart. It can vary from 3 to 5 weeks and depends on your hormones. The length in time can change as we age and our hormones fluctuate. It may be a natural change for you.

At the same time, there are some health conditions which can altar the span of menstrual cycles.

Let us know what you find out. Best of luck to you!
