How much pain is normal?
I very, very rarely get cramps. Only once in a while does it ever hurt and even then it's just a mild reminder that my uterus is doing things. But today (day two of my period) is brutal. Im laying in bed in the fetal position. I can't stand up straight and it feels like my uterus is really tight and wont loosen. It's making me nauseaus it hurts so bad. Is it normal to be in this much pain? is it normal if i'm usually not in this much pain? -
If you are not normally in so much pain, I would say, no it's not normal. But honestly, it depends on the person.
My cramps vary... Sometimes I lay in the fetal position and sleep with a heating pad, along with taking Advil because I'm in so much pain. Sometimes, I'm barely bothered.
I have had friends who have had absolutely debilitating cramps and have gone to the Dr for them. If you are concerned, go in and talk to the Dr. -
I think I may just wait it out. It's not debilitating, Its just painful and aggrivating. I'm supposed to be going out of town in a couple of hours with my girlfriend to meet her parents and her friends and be active and of course I don't want to move. I only recently became sexually active, so I'm not sure if that means anything at all in regards to this, but it is a fact. If it doesnt get better then I'll go see someone. Now I think I'm just going to have a hot bath and a tea and advil cocktail!Comment
