yet another thread about an odd period.

So, i'm 19, well almost. ive been on the pill about 2 years now. i just decided to stop taking it for awhile to let my system get back to my normal cycle. (it was making me sick). Well, my boyfriend and i made a couple stupid decisions. and now im having an odd period. I bled brown, barely even that i might add for a day and now my body seems like im off. i feel like i could start at any moment but i don't. I still have the normal period symptoms, but my boobs hurt a little to. I dont know what to think. I have very little stress in my life, and while having a baby would throw a major monkey wrench in my plans, that doesnt freak me out too bad either. I guess im just kinda looking for advice?

How long have you been off the pill? Sometimes it takes a while for your cycle to go back to any kind of normalcy.

well, i just stopped taking it, so this period should have been normal. they usually last 7 days and are mild to heavy. this was barely any brown blood for a day.

Get some ginger root (fresh veggie section of grocery) make some ginger tea by putting a few slices in boiling water or with your regular mug of tea, let steep for 8-10 mins. If you are close to starting this will do it.

It can work so fast that you could start bleeding before you finish it.

You should probably take a home pregnancy test before you start trying to induce your period. Just to be safe and certain.
