Its been 40 days since my last period. I have been taking melatonin for insomnia, is it because of melatonin thats causing it?

Melatonin shouldn't affect your cycle. Melatonin the the body's natural "go to sleep" hormone and taking it for insomnia should mimic a natural cycle. If you are taking it even remotely as directed I can't see it having a significant affect on you period. -
Finally my period has come. I will stop taking melatonin. I think it affects my period. Thanks for the reply.Comment
