    hemorrhagic cyst

Is anyone familar with this type of cyst? I had a fluid filled cyst rupture on christmas eve. I had my period on the 30th of dec. It lasted 7 days and the I just had this brownish discharge. On the 11th I ran some errands with my husband and came home and I had alot of the discharge then I went to the potty and I was passing redish pink discharge. So then the 12th I cleaned and samething happened except the cramps were alittle worse. So I went to the ER. They said that left side has good blood sounds from the Ultrasound but the right side has a cyst now and its hemorrhagic. They said I am to do nothing or this one may rupture as well. Everytime I get up and walk for a short time I start to cramp in my stomach and my back is cramping and I get this sharp pain now in my right side. And in my lower back. I was just wondering if anyone has advice or something.

    Same cyst

    Hey there Casey,

I have just been daignosed with this type of cyst after going into hospital with pain on my right side. They've sent me home now and I am feeling very unwell... nauseous and my temperature feels very high even though its not in the fever range. Did u feel like this? I'm quite worried that I'm losing blood because of it... I'm already anaemic as it is.

They say this kind of cyst goes away on its own usually. How big was yours? Mines nearly 5cm, probably the reason why im getting pain.

Be glad to hear from you,

    Helgio

      hemorrhagic cyst

I too ended up in the hospital early november 2006 for what doctors think was a ruptured cyst. The ultrasound showed it as hemorrhagic. What a painful experience!! They told me that it would most likely heal on it's own and that ovarian cysts are very common. Well it's been 3 months and I have recently been feeling a lot of pain again especially in my lower back, butt and thighs. I can't bend over to tie my shoes. I feel imobile and I'm only 30 years old. I have to go back for another ultrasound to find out what is going on. I need to get well and I am very curious to see what has developed down there in that time. I would have to assume that diet has something to do with it or maybe even a lot to do with it, I'm just wondering if I should be seeing a naturalist/herbalist rather than a doctor.
