    Please Help!!

Hie.. im new here.. and i need a bit of help..
I actually had an abortion * one i tremendously regret* on 25th of september. and i had sex again after a week.. * again i regret this, it was stupid of me* and i took a morning after pill within 36 hours. i didnt get my period till november 4th. it was heavy and.. i guess normal. i had severe cramps.. and its usual.before that i took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. but.. i was a little nauseous two to three weeks after the abortion till now. and then i got my second period on the 7th of december. however, its lighter and shorter than usual.but with massive cramps.. and im really worried. could i be pregnant again? i dont have sore breasts or.. frequent urinating.. but i am nauseous... im so worried i am pregnant..

    please help..

    Hi liyana,

    Welcome to the Forum.

Firstly, if you regret what you did, then you need to seek councelling, I know everyone would say that but you do.. You need to see clearly that you made that decision for a reason and that reason at that time was very valid to you or you were co-orsed into it, either way, don't blame yourself or beat yourself up okay.

Go and talk to someone about it.

Having sex a week later, must have been hard, it still must have been sore. How ever that occured, again you regret that, so don't let anyone tell you what to do, it's your body and your life ok.

I would say that having an abortion they basically state, do nothing for a few weeks but your body is also adjusting to that and there is a lot of stress going on with your body, it's natural to miss a period I think as well as natural for your body to try to re-adjust.

I think you are fine... as it was negative and your under alot of stress.

Please realise you are important and again, don't feel that your not

      thank you.. so much..
but that test was a month ago.. so im still very worried.. and yes i know.. i regret it but i know it was the right decision.. as im still too young for it.
is there any possibility that i could be since.. i read up about the implantation bleeding and.. the shorter and lighter period states that its symptoms of pregnancy?
and if i do take another pregnancy test.. how long do i wait after this period has stopped?

PS; im soo sorry.. but i am very very worried still.

As long as you are comfortable that's all that matters

I have said this a few times, "googling a problem can definately give you a bit of in-sight but don't claim it as yours, as we are all individual people".

The Morning after pill is usually taken within 24hrs but 36 should still work.

I personally can't see how you can be pregnant (1 week after having an abortion), and I still maintain your body is recovering.

Your body also had a period, lighter but a period in December...

Have another pregnancy test, now and if it shows negative then your pretty safe.

If you are really worried please go see a Doctor to rest your mind a little.

Please at that time, talk about birth control options and in the meantime, use a condom I know they suck and boys say ewee but point out the alternative

I have heard alot about people thinking that bleeding means pregnancy if light but I think your body is truly trying really hard to get over the operation, no mater how small it is stressful to our bodies sweet.

          Hie..

Thank you so much for all your help.. youve eased my mind.. but may i ask a couple more questions?
          1) Whats the difference between spotting and a period?
          2) Would if have made a difference if i had sex within a month after the abortion? but i still took the morning after pill? cause i think i confused the dates.. but it should be within the month after the abortion date which was in late sept, ( in Oct *missed period*).. then the two periods after that.. ( Nov and, Dec - being the lighter one)

im so sorry.. i dont really know much and... there isnt anyone i can talk to..
          again.. thank you.

There will be other replies, it's probably around 5am US time, I live in Australia.. 922pm.

In my "opinion" spotting is light pink, a mixture of our natural "fluids" with a little blood.

It's the "trying to have a period", or body needs extra cleaning or, alot of stress...

Periods are heavier, reder, or dark brown, old blood then, red.

Sweet, I so know your worried but I can't, no-one can, answer that.

It makes sense, abortion, sex in 7 days, not time for body to really react, morning after pill, pregnancy test says no..

Three "no's" to me sounds extremely promising. Very.

Take another test, as I suggested.

I again, personally think your body is just trying to adjust....

But please do us a favour and grap another pregnancy test kit from your Chemist and come back and talk to us.

We aren't going anywhere and we're here to talk to ....

            Ok!

everyone is truely individual...after i had mine (just over a yr ago) i had next to no bleeding then after a few weeks it was like i had been stabbed up there!...i went on to have no period for the next 6 months or so then all i had was spotting of blood no real period until a few months ago....ive now just had the implanon taken out 6 weeks ago and ive not had a period or any spotting at all and also feared an unwanted pregnancy but after 3 negative tests im now not so stressed or worried (stress can also delay periods) and in acceptence that my body is just re-adjusting from implanon to the pill im currently on.
if you still fear pregnancy after a few more weeks take another test...hope all goes well for you....
