    taste sour, dont get wet.

    Hi.
I'm 18 years old, and have sex reguarly.
However, lately my boyfriend noticed that my vagina has been tasting rather sour, and i dont get wet as easily, and it only happens reguarly. My boyfreind says that he doesnt care, but I'd like to sort it out for peace of mind.
A thick, creamy discharge is on his penis when he pulls out, and is always on my fingers when i finger myself. what do i do?
Its been like this for about a month, and I have no idea what is it!
    Help!

How is Aunt Flo - is it still on schedule? Could it be your pH? when was the last time you've seen your doctor?

Were you two exclusive? I just want to know (but you don't have to answer if you prefer not to).

Any itchiness, burning sensation when you pee?

Also to add to Cats list of questions...

Have you noticed an unusual odor in the last month?

Yes we were exclusive, so I know it isnt an STI.
        No burning sensation.
Havent seen my doctor in awhile.
Period is fine, always on time.
A strange odor if sniffing my finger afterwards.

        Any ideas?

I'm going to say, possibly a yeast infection... Maybe try some OTC meds, see if that clears it up. However, you are not exhibiting all the symptoms of a yeast infection, it may be Bacterial Vaginosis or BV. So if an OTC treatment doesn't work, I'd be getting into the Dr.

Sounds like BV to me...go to the doc and they'll put you on a course of anti biotics and that'll clear it up

definitely sounds like bv. trust me ive been there done that. i would advise you to go see a dr. just to make sure that it is just an infection. the meds the dr. prescribed for me didnt work (metro gel), (clindamyci?). but trying the home remedies, 4 billion acidophilus pills, and (3) 400 mcg folic acid pills twice a day significantly reduced the smell, and discharge. so just try it n c wut happens. good luck.
p.s. sex, and your period can increase your pH which can spark bv.
