    Anti-biotics and yeast infection

Hey I have been on antibiotics for the last 6 days and I think I now have a yeast infection. A couple of months ago when I went on antibiotics I got a yeast infection aswell. I found the the cream worked really well and I have bought some, but I am on my periods at the moment, so will that stop the cream from working? Can I use it at the same time? Last time I tried the tablet and found that it made me really sick and didnt help. Is there anything else I can use?
    Thanks.

I think cream only works for the external symptoms it doesn't take away the infection, also with persarries if you want to try them using them on your period weakens them so I think you should go to your docs and discuss treatment. Get it sorted asap! I suffered from this for sooooo long

Pessaries along with cream are a good idea and will work fine once your flow slows down a bit.

I thought that too Sarah, as I've been having to in the past use the creams and Pessaries during the cycle and it still worked.
