Ovarian cyst rupture? Help!
I was diagnosed with a cyst on my left ovary but my doctor told me it was tiny and i had nothing to worry about..well for about 5 months now when my hubby and i have intercourse it hurts, there's only one way that doesn't hurt so we just try to hurry up and get it over with. anyways it is now June 12th and my hubby and i had intercourse last night (June 11) until today when i was sitting on the couch, i got extremely tired so i decided i was going to go have a shower and maybe i would feel better, to find out when i went to the washroom when i wiped i noticed blood, but it was like chunky brown blood, kinda looked like old blood or something..not too sure, but now i feel dizzy and tired and getting cramps..did my cyst erupt? and should i be worried? i am going to make an appointment with my doctor on Monday in hopes to find out some information as to why this is happening to me. my mother was also diagnosed with fibroid tumors and cysts as well..so i am guessing i am taking after her...grr lol -
Hello,
I was also diagnosed with a cyst on my left ovary, it was small too, but I had it removed via laparoscopy recently. My mum took me the the ER when I went to the bathroom and had the same odd looking blood coming out of me. It was very dark, almost like tar. The nurse told me it was just dried up, old blood. Regardless, im sure you are not okay with something that looks like that coming out of your body either. I hope that you get some answers soon and that all goes well at your doctors appointment. From my own personal experience with the same kind of thoughts running through my head that i was certain the excruciating pain meant that my cyst had ruptured or my ovary had burst, it hadn't, even though the pain is terrible, and makes you panic, i can understand and i feel for you. Still, you know your own body better than anyone and if you feel that something isnt right then there is no harm in getting it checked out, again and again if you have to (because nobody ever listens), even just for peace of mind. I will never forget the day I was told "it definately won't be a cyst, because they dont cause any pain".....turns out it was a cyst lol and it caused me more pain than i can put into words.
Im always happy to chat if you need to. Take care -
Thanks for the reply, well i went to the doctors the other day and told my doctor what was going on, he kinda freaked me out saying i may have a tube baby, like the baby did not pass or something or it could be the cyst doing that...but i got blood tests done and now have to make an appointment to get an ultrasound, so hope i find out soon what is going on, so far i finished bleeding, it only lasted 6 days and i do not get much pain anymore so thats good lol...but we shall seeComment
