About 3 weeks ago my husband and I had really rough dry sex. Ever since then the tears have gotten really bad. I went to the doctor to make sure the sores were not STDs and she gave me some lidocane gel to put on them. They're still not going away, if anything they are getting worse. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any kind of cream or whatever to put on there to help them heal. I've been using the gel plus some neosporin. Please help. :-/

Have you been to the Dr since? I would imagine in 3 years time, they'd hopefully be able to resolve the issue some more.

lol - oops, sorry, I misread that for 3 years, I'll blame it on me being out in the sun all day.

3 weeks, for vaginal tears, meh, hard to say because of the moisture down there, things take a tad longer to heal. I would probably be calling the Dr's office tomorrow and at least talking to a nurse to see what they have to say.

Also, just to add and hopefully make you feel better, I had a cyst in my vagina and it had to be lanced for 2 weeks to drain (PAINFUL!), but it took probably close to 6 weeks to heal.

Mm. I had a tear somewhere on the inside of my vagina and it definitely took several weeks to fully heal.

several weeks?! Thanks for all the comments. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who has gone through this. It's just hard to refrain from sex when you're a newlywed. Guess we'll just have to bear with it. Thanks again.

Yeah, but it's even worse to continuously re-aggravate and not allowing it to heal. There are other forms of pleasure rather than penetrative sex, but then again, it's also difficult to restrain oneself and not get carried away.

I had that happen before. I used Vitamin D ointment. You know the white tube with a teddy bear on it? It worked really well and when i had to go to the bathroom it protected it, then I would wash up and put some more on. took a couple weeks for it to compleletly heal. Good luck.
