    question about tampon

i'm 22 years old and a virgin. I've tried using tampons but can't get them in. It really hurts when i try. Is that unusual or is something wrong "down there"? I've had two pelvic exams. My first. dr. said that something is not stretching like it should and my second dr. said that everything is in order as it should be when your still a virgin. who's right? I'm starting to get worried.

Before i lost my virginity i tried using a tampon but that didnt work out becuase of the pain. It sounds normal to me. The second doctor seems like a reasonable ansewer, however, i think you should get a 3rd opinion by a different doctor.

Does the first doctor know that you're a virgin? They should have asked you those questions before. But back when I first tried using tampons, the instructions still were a bit vague to me since I didn't really masturbate a lot. But try pushing it in different angles. That was the problem with me, I was trying to stick it on an angle that was really difficult. Experiment and relax, eventually you'll get it.
