    Tampon help?

I started using tampons yesterday, and everything was going well until this morning, I kept a tampon in overnight, not for longer than 8 hours... I got up and replaced it and after I felt really bad. My vision was going wierd and my heart started beating faster and I felt really faint. Is this normal? Is there something wrong with me? I removed the tampon when that happened. Is it just because I was tired?

I have been using tampons for a while and I will leave one in over night as well. Never longer then 8 hours thought. I have never had a problem as you have described. Tampons to me are more convienent then pads or panty liners. Maybe try tampons during the day and using pads at night.

I had the same problem when I used them. I did not see the doctor just called the nurse at the OYGNO office and she told me it maybe symptons of Toxic Shock. I stopped using them all together... I like using them, just can't.

I have been using tampons for many year and have never had a problemlike this. I use them during the day as well as night but never over 8 hours. I again would suggest trying during the day to see if you have the same issue.
