Pain during sex-HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
for the past couple of months when me and my husband have sex it burns. It has brought me to tears some times, other times i push past it and it's fine until we are done with the sexual intercourse and i need to use the restroom. We have done nothing different in these past 3 months that it has been happening but it is making my marriage very stressful. I have been to the doctor for it multiple times but as I am an Air Force wife i have a military doctor to work with and not a gynecologist. My doctor has tried giving me something for a yeast infection and something for a bacterial infection, neither of these worked. He also said no sex for two weeks so that if there were any cuts they would have time to heal. That as well did not work. It burns when I pee but only when the urine comes into contact with the vaginal opening, I have tried peeing into a cup and blocking the urine stream from making contact with the vaginal opening and that does not burn. It has recently started burning when he gives me head or when he attempts to finger me. My husband has lost all urges to have sex, he says it's a lost cause. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so can you tell me how it was fixed and I can bring the ideas up to my doctor so he can tell me if he thinks it will help. I am not looking for someone to diagnose the problems just give me different things i can take to my doctor so we can rule them out as he has NO idea what the problem could be.
I greatly appreciate any responses as it will save both my sex life and possible my marriage -
what is Vulvar Vestibulitis? and it looks a little red right by the opening but other then that it looks very normal. Me and my husband had sex today and that actual sex part didn't hurt but when i used the restroom afterwards i felt like my vagina was on fire, I got a cold wash cloth and held it there for a couple minutes and I felt fine.Comment

You should google it and have a read through some sites, I can't post any here because they are outbound links. Basically they don't know why it happens but sometimes women get pain in the vulva with inflammation (inflammation isn't always present but can be) and they don't know why. The medical way of treating it is to use low dose anti-depressants as they believe the burning is nerve pain. There's a big connection between VV and pelvic floor dysfunction too and most women find they have weak pelvic floor muscles in spasm which can help if corrected. You really need to have a good thorough look online because it's too large a subject to fit into a reply here.Comment

A couple of things to consider:
First, you could have a chronic yeast infection. Not all women have the tell-tale discharge, so if you're having redness/burning/irritation, you may have a chronic problem that just isn't clearing up.
Second, even though you have a military doctor, are you able to go off-base and see an OBGYN? Even if you have to go to a clinic or Planned Parenthood? It really sounds like you need to see a specialist for an actual diagnosis. What other options do you have?Comment
