can't be pregnancy, negative test. So what is the cause!

I have a doctor appt tomorrow, I am so confused. I posted a few times about my period, august 25 will be officially 3 months late. I've taken many tests, clear blue easy being the most recent, still negative. I can't be pregnant if even the tests that claim to test before your missed period say im not pregnant! However ive never been more than a month late and ive been off birth control since december.

I've been having a series of possible yeast infections, or what seems to be the start of a bladder infection. I don't no what my symptoms are from but it feels like by body has changed. My hair, skin are greasy. My ears feel funny, im sleepy, and maybe im about to start b/c my area above my pelvic bone is swollen more on one side then the other i think but both sides definitely make one raised area, where it used to be flat, even sunken in.

I finally made the appt, b/c these symptoms are not normal for me. I doubt that pregnancy is the cause, if it were i would be experiencing morning sickness, and a positive test! But what is up with my cycle?

It's possible that you have some sort of hormonal imbalance or something like PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). My sister has PCOS and before being put on meds+birth control her periods were all over the place (many months apart), she had excessive hair growth and really bad acne. Also, stress can have an effect on your cycle, and I've found that having a bunch of infections throws mine off too. You can ask for a blood pregnancy test just to be sure, but if all the rest have been coming back negative for so long, it's unlikely.

Could be a hormonal imbalance or perhaps you have an ovarian cyst, they mess up periods and it might explain the swelling you mentioned too. Definitely get it checked and if it was me I'd be asking for a pelvic ultrasound to check for cysts, I've had a few and they invariably mess up my cycle in some way.
