How to balance vagina's PH? read on please, it could be something else!
Ever since I started puberty I've had vagina/peehole issues. It would feel very uncomfortable out of nowhere, and high school it was WORSE. The pain is so intense, and has still kept up with me to this day. Now, I am 25. I went to gyno for bc when I was 19, and she told me I had bacteria something... I don't really remember. She gave me these pills that were a capsule, two shades of orange. They turned my pee super bright orange and I didn't feel the pain. Can someone tell me what they were? I haven't gone back since then, because of my insurance issues. I got pregnant a while back and that was the only time in my life I got relief. I might have had ouchies down there 5 times, and now that I am no longer pregnant it is an every day occurrence. I do not take pain meds unless I really need them, so VERY hot baths suffice. I suppose it numbs the peehole, and I can deal with my day. I have been tested, I do not have any STDs. When I urinate, or am about to and feel the burn, it's a very hot stinging burn. I was wondering if my PH was off, and maybe I could tone it down and be cured? I am open to answer questions you may have, I just want to be normal! Help if you can, or even if you can just relate. thank you. -
I had a sort of similar experience that I can relay but mine was because I formed a 1mm kidney stone on my left kidney. It started out as pain during urination, burning sensation like you described. Turned out I had recurring urinary tract infection which escalated into firming the stone or vice versa...I got tested and my urologist told me that my pH is not balanced so I had to take potassium citrate (which is not prescribed in the US). I also took some antibiotics for the UTIs and it took care of the problem.
I think you need to be checked by a urologist and an OB-GYN and if you can have them work together for you, the better...Likewise, drink lots of water and eat organic pineapples, grape fruit and mangoes - these are good cleansers.Comment

PS
Potassium citrate helps break down the stone hence helping you to pass it in a more efficient way, while helping you keep your pH balanced.
If yours is UTI, please don't delay. Whatever it is don't delay. There are some medical issues like this which could be life threatening (not scaring you). Just concerned about your well-being.Comment

The pills you took that made your urine orange sound like the meds used to treat UTIs. I've taken them myself before, and yes, they make your pee the color of those barrels you see at road construction sites!
Was it bacterial vaginosis your doctor said you had?
I have had some problems with "discomfort" down there most of my adult life, continually being treated for yeast infections, etc. Like you, I have no STD's or anything else like that. I started taking a probiotic supplement a few weeks ago, and it seems to be helping with "cleansing" and keeping the flora healthy.Comment
