    vaginal itching!!! help!

okay guys so...long story...i was using irish spring soap and was allergic so my vagina and anal was really irritated. then i had hemroids from bowel movements.so all in all it was pretty irritated down there.i started getting bumps from scratching down there. I went to the doctors and she thought it would be from the soap or herpes. but she said it wasnt herpes and it was the soap. im taking birth control now as well. now all the bumps are gone. the only thing is that..my vagina lips and the area around my anal is realllyy itchy.there isnt any bumps though.what could it be????

I think I can help you with this one... hopefully, by now you will have had some relief, but if not, try this.
I also had vaginal itching, which it very distracting, to say the least. Anyway, I used a product that is
an all-purpose skin care product. I first used ISP for cuts, scrapes, rashes, etc. Then, one day I thought,
"I'm going to try it for vaginal itching and found out that it stopped the itching and left a fresh, clean
scent without any irritation." ISP Ointment (you can order it online, just google it), really works & is
not expensive. ISP has no artificial ingredients like perfumes or chemicals, so it doesn't add to the problem.
It has small amounts of peppermint oil, iodine, sulfur, cocoa butter & petrolatum (like Vaseline). The
peppermint oil is what helps with the itching, but also leaves a fresh, clean scent. My husband recently
said, "Well, you know you used to have a urine odor sometimes, but now you don't." I said, "Great, thanks
for telling me twenty years ago!" ha... Anyway, I'm just happy I don't have that to deal with anymore.

Back to your post, I also had hemmorhoids, (after I gave birth to my daughter). I had no idea what anal
itching and soreness that hemmorhoid sufferers had to deal with! I just wanted to scratch my butt all of
the time. That's when I used ISP first for itching... it was immediate relief. I've told lots of people about
ISP for hemmorhoids and it worked for all of them, but it works just as well for vaginal itching, discomfort
and odor and it's cheap and non-toxic. Hope this helps
