    Sharp Pains

    Hello,

I'm going in to see a gyno this week and can't wait pain is awful. But wanted to see what others thought. For the past few weeks and more noticeable this past weekend I'm having sharp shooting pains in the vagina and uterus, as well as cramping and pressure on my bladder. But I don't have burning when I urinate or an extreme urge only a slight pressure type urge but its not like I'm trying to go and nothing is coming or burns, but it's only slight weak.

I do have itching and some redness around my vulva and I have noticed some slimy discharge coming out. The sharp pain will just hit me out the blue like lighting but the pressure and cramping stays consistent. My periods have been normal well normal for me or so I think. Anybody have any ideas? Can a UTI present this way? What about Bacterial Vaginosis-PID? I'm thinking I have something down below yeast BV something and then something else going on with the uterus bladder etc.. It came on pretty sudden...these past few weeks.

*Also something elese really really off I am getting a random sharp pain up the rectum but I do have two internal hemmorhoids, or it could be this pain up front hitting nerves in the back possible?

One thing that springs to mind is pelvic floor dysfunction, it can cause urinary symptoms, vaginal and vulval symptoms and rectal symptoms. You'd have to have infections ruled out first but if they show nothing I'd suggest getting your pelvic floor checked out with a biofeedback machine (feeling with the fingers isn't reliable, it has to be done with the internal probe). The pelvic floor can irritate nerves in the pelvis and the pudendal supplies both the vulvar and the rectum so perhaps your pudendal nerve is being irritated?

I'll mention that too after the test are done it's, possible will stink if so, I'm 29 and haven't had kids yet my luck. Ive had a transvaginal done a few months back and ultrasound and CT scan would it have shown something? My pain is very recent.

If it's the pudndal nerve the only way to find out is to do a nerve block on it. It won't show on any scans etc. If the pelvic floor is tight and irritating it biofeedback and exercises to relax the pelvic floor should help.
