    Possible yeast/ BC reaction

Okay long story short, I have been on Ortho-Tricylen for exactly 13 days today. I had oral sex with my boyfriend on Tuesday night, he gave me oral four times. The first time he gave me oral I bled, he was rough but I like it. The next day, Wednesday, I found out I think the reason that I bled was because my skin was stretched too far, I had a nice slice mark, like made from a nail or a razor kind of look, on my outter labia where my lips connected with my inner labia right before my clit, and down further near my entrance was red and sore. But I dont think that I bled as much as I did just from that. The last couple days I have been nursing my cut with Vaseline and now its cured. I think I started spotting from the pill, it only lasted 15 minutes and then it was totally gone.

Now after knowing that today I had masturbated and I felt like I discharged so I went and looked ( i have been wearing pantiliners because I dont want to ruin my panties if I start to spot) and its a yellowish, which for me, normal for me, its either on the yellow-ish side or its white. Well I got a mirror, dont ask me why I decided to look in a mirror but I did, and it was white, but I dont want to say its like a cottage cheese white and chunky, but I guess thats the only way to describe it. When I looked in the mirror it was still in my vag, I do not itch there at all, I do not have any pain or irritation while I urinate. So I definitely know its not a UTI. Its just weird I do not remember my discharge looking like that. Or maybe because I never actually looked in a mirror before.

Is a symptom of the pill? Or do I need to see my Gyno? Should I pick up one of those OTC yeast infection tests to make sure? And then cure it myself?

I have NEVER had a yeast infection before.

Also I peed after almost every time he gave me oral, I think 3 times out of four, i went nad peed. So it should have cleaned away any bacteria.

I am also going to add that when I do have my period the cotex irritates my skin and makes it red and chaffs it, but I cant use a tampon when I work or past the second day of my period. I do not have the kind of job where I can get away to the bathroom when I have to after four or five hours. Its hard for me. So maybe part of my problem can be because of the pantiliners I have been wearing EVERY day since I started my Ortho-tryclen Lo birth control?

That could be a part of it. Many of these women's sanitary products have chemical additives which a sensitive person could react to. Do you use any sort of scented or deodorant products on your genital area? Those can cause reactions too.

I do not use any scented or deodorant products on my area. If I pick up scented cotex its by accident, but thats a rarity. I think I only have done that once four years ago. And I should also add, that my skin does tend to itch after I shave the hair completely off and the pads do irritate my clit most months. I am, this month, trying the "thin" cotex out to see if there is a difference. But the discharge to me, is weird. Not sure what that is. Also sorry for the double posting. I did not know about that.

it's cool. Creating more than one thread actually makes it harder to get a good discussion going and confuses people, they answer on one thread and then see the other and don't know what happened to their post.

You could have multiple things going on; the shaving could be allowing more chaffing and irritation of your vulva, you could have an infection starting and you could be reacting to something. Already irritated skin exposed to a strong soap could cause a reaction. You mght try backing off the shaving and just keeping your pubic hair trimmed for a while, avoiding using soaps on your genitals and see if treating for yeast helps? If it is yeast your partner should treat as well. He can use the cream or ointment on his penis to help ensure that he isn't reintroducing it.

At least until this is entirely healed, you might try exploring some really gentle sexual practices.

We didnt have intercourse at all yet. It was just plainly oral. I was only the receiving partner because he doesnt like receiving it back. There is no funky odor. The last time I shaved was after my last cycle which ended on 9/26 so I have no shaved since then. I have only been using pantiliners just incase of spotting. I am not due for my cycle again until 10/19. I only shave once a month because I know shaving irritates my skin. I was just throwing everything out there just in case anything that I do had a role in my discharge concern. As of right now that is really my only concern. I cant say that I am peeing more than usual because if I drink one 8oz glass of water I'm peeing within 30 minutes. I have a small bladder, but I've always been like that. So thats nothing new.

I guess I will just keep "watch" on the discharge with a mirror since it doesnt seem to show up on my pantiliner. Its a normal color and all I just got a little weirded out when it looked "chunky", I guess thats the word for it. Maybe I'm just over thinking this whole thing and its a weird side effect from my BC. On my BC I've only noticed the "bleeding/spotting" once and the "Discharge" as my only differences in my body. I am only questioning the discharge now because of the oral sex I had on Tuesday night. If I never had oral sex Tuesday night I wouldnt even question it and just think it was entirely from the BC. Honestly, if that was the case, I probably would have never noticed it.

I tend to over think everything, its a trait from my father, he does the same thing. Which I happen to be very lucky that there is a site like this for women, I used to rely on Cha-Cha for my answers, but I couldnt give as much detail with that.
