    2 Month Period, Help?

So, I am about 16 years old and I have always had regular periods since I first started getting them when I was about 10 or 11. I started using Yaz birth control in May up until July (my third package of pills) where I experienced bleeding throughout the whole month. My doctor recommended I switch to Yasmin and so I did. Yasmin worked well up uptil September (2nd or 3rd package of pills) where I once again experienced bleeding throughout the whole month. I took another trip back to my doctor and he put me on Nuva Ring but it did not stop. When the month for the ring was almost over, I returned to my doctor's and he put me on Alesse which I have now been on for about a week and a half and it still hasn't stopped. I've been on my period from about the 10th of September to now. I want to stay on a birth control, but I just don't know what to do. Should I give my current birth control more time or take another trip back to my doctor's office? Has anyone else had this problem? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like you may need a higher dose of estrogen in your pill. SOmetimes if the estrogen level is too little, it can cause break through bleeding. Is it heavy bleeding? I would still see your doctor though. Keep trying, you'll find the right one

The first times it happened with the Yaz and Yasmin it was mostly light, but since I was on the Nuva Ring and now the Alesse it's been heavy-ish. Do you know any birth controls with low chances of breakthrough bleeding?
