PLEASE HELP!! yeast infectin SO PAINFUL and won't go away! any suggestions?
i have posted on here before with what i thought was vulvodynia, only for it to be a horrible yeast infection. the symptoms are horrible burning, discharge that comes and goes, and redness that comes and goes that looks and feels like sunburn. i have had this since september. i have taken a three day dose of terazol in september, then in october a one 150mg. tablet of Diflucan, then in november 6 days of 50mg Diflucan, and now a month worth of 50mg Diflucan. I am on day 10 and have had NO relief!!! I am swollen and in so much pain!!!!! This is my FIRST yeast infection. i am taking acidophilus twice daily, along with garlic pills and cranberry. I just douched with yeast gard that is a probiotic douche. i don't know how much more of this i can take. if this is a resistant strain, IS there ANYTHING that will make it go away? has anyone else had such problems? i am becoming severly depressed and don't know what to do. please help!!!! -

It won't cure it but it will provide you with a little bit of relief.... Ice packs.... sounds strange but it works. Monistat or Gynolotromin is what I've always used and they have a 1 day, 3 day and 5 day treatment course.... don't think going with the one day it'll be gone in one day, it usually takes 3-5 no matter what treatment you use... I can sympathize with you. I hope you find some relief very soon. Good luck.Comment
