    Can I get pregnant?

I have been with my boyfriend for 4years and we have decided to start trying for a child, I started my periods when I was about 11 with just the usual spotting (not heavy periods) and then as I reached 14 I only had periods yearly instead of monthly, which my mum said would even out as I grew older. I am now 19 and haven't had a period in 2years. And the last period lasted 2weeks compared to the average 7day cycle.

Me and my partner have been having unprotected sex for the last 4 years and I have not once been pregnant, I tried doctors who referred me to the hospital for polisistic ovaries testing which came back negative and my blood tests were normal.

    Any ideas?

Is it even possible for me to fall pregnant?

    Comments will be appreciated.

You really ought to go back to your gp so that you can find out why your periods have stopped. That will likely give you the answers to your questions

I know you didn't ask for this opinion, but coming from a previous teen mom myself at age 16 and 18 yrs old, please really think about your choice. You are so young at 19 to have a baby, enjoy your freedom while you are young. I am sorry you can't get pregnant as you desire, but it might be a sign that it's not the right time.
Just a thought......best wishes to you.

An irregular period can be indicative of infertility, but only a doctor can really answer a question of this nature.
You might want to look into a form of contraceptive where you track your ovulation called "Natural Family Planning." While you may not be wanting to PREVENT conception, it might help you to discern whether or not you're ovulating at all.
        Good luck.
