Hi,

My last period was 5 days late (im not usually that regular anyway) it also seemed alot heavier than usual. I was on for my usual 4-5 days on the 5th day I had sex (i noticed a slight pain in my left ovary during) then for about 4 days afterwards I had a brown discharge which seems to have now cleared up, but I am still getting pinching/cramping around my ovaries its hard to describe but like a heavy feeling, almost like im due on again.

Its embarrising but iv also noticed iv got quite a bit of wind, im not on the pill, the dr has tested me for bacterial vaginosis and thrush both were fine, she also did an internal which was normal. Is the pain that I have ovulation? I tried to roughly work it out and if I had come on at the right time I should be ovulating round about now. Also is it possible for your periods to change? I am nearly 25 and have noticed a few changes in them lately. I have also done 2 pregnancy tests both were negative.

You could be ovulating... Unfortunately we can't really tell you. You can take an ovulation test to find out though.
