    2 periods in 2 weeks

Hi ladies. It's been a long time since I've been on here.

I started birth control back in October (Loestrin24). Everything has been going well, although it hasn't really let up on the cramping. My periods were usually at the end of the month, but now it's changed to the beginning of the month.

The beginning of January, all was normal. I had a period lasting about 5 days. But then 2 weeks later, I got another period! Lasting the same amount of time! Is this normal?

I'm getting married on Feb. 26, and of course no one wants to be on their period while on their honeymoon. Could this second period mess up my current cycle? I'm about to start the 4 little brown pills in my pack next week (around Wednesday or so). But I read somewhere that skipping the last week of the current pack can skip your next period. I don't wanna do this in order to try to skip my period the first week of March (that's the honeymoon), cuz I don't think my BC is made that way.

Any suggestions? Or anything just to ease my mind? I can't get a hold of my doctor cuz her mean assistant won't transfer my cries for help! Ugh!

Mmm there is a thing called dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Where the bleeding is irrgular bleending from uterus, Ex, you may get your period more often than every 21 days or father apart than 35 days. your period may last longer than 7 days, it is not serious. Most cases are hormone changes in lvls.

Mmm not sure if you have it, but the symtoms are like you'll get your period more often than every 21 days or farther apart than 35 days. mornal adult menstral cycle is 21 to 35 days long a normal teen cycle is 21 to 45 days.

Your periods lasts longer than seven days ( normaly four to six days)

Your bleeding is heavier than normal. If you're passing blood clots and soaking through the pad or tampons each hour for 2 or more hrs then its concidered severe and you should call a doc.

Like I said i did a lil reasearch for you and one other lady im not sure but it might be what you have. I hope it help a bit <3 its 5 am lol i need sleep D= good luck though!
