I was using the toilet, and when I wiped, I noticed I had some discharge that was gooey and light orange.

I normally have a sort of odd discharge (especially if I've been sitting for very long periods of time...It can be yellowish and gooey/gummy with no sign of an infection), but seeing it kind of orangey was beyond weird for me. I have mild cramping, but no spotting, and my period is not due for at least another week or two. It wigged me out, I'll tell you!

I have an orange shirt on so I'm wondering if it somehow reflected onto what I was looking at or something, but it's still weird.

It was only a little and then everything looked normal the next time I went (which was shortly after--I went to put on pads just in case)

Has anyone ever had this? Should I be worried?

Are you on BC? It could be that your period is just going to come early. I've had darker discharge right before my period on a couple of occasions.

I'd only be concerned if it continues happening or if you get any irritation/itching/redness along with it. Like you said, you were wearing an orange shirt and it's incredible what tricks our minds can play on us.

Lafemelle, I'm not on birth control. It turned out though that it _Was_ my shirt, so that's the problem solved!
