I'm glad you went back to your gyno. I was going to say, find another doctor if you couldn't get in until May! That's ridiculous. Let us know how your doing. I'm glad they found out what was wrong with you.

Actually I went to a different gyno.. For some reason I didn't feel the confidence in the one who said it was constipation... I went back by the one who wasn't free until May.. She has a separate ultrasound technician.. So, I was told that if it was necessary, the dr would fit me in after the ultrasound was done.. So, basically once the receptionist told me that I should come back a little later to see the dr I KNEW something was wrong! It was a horrible day for me and I couldn't stop crying until I saw the dr. I was really scared and my poor bf had no idea how to comfort me.. Anyway, when I went back she did an internal exam and said there was no infection. She said that I'm lucky as I don't have the clinical symptoms of someone with PCOS.. No facial hair, acne, balding, painful sex.. Not even irregular periods!!! I just had the pain.. I'm also vastly underweight as I'm 5 ft and 85 lbs. as I said, she put me on 500mg glucophage once a day for 6 months as well as the pill for 6 months which I have to start when I get my periods .. And Josalid antibiotics for a week! I'm glad I went by her as she's one of the best there is here.. And she was kind and gentle.. But now I can't wait for the 6 months to pass to go back by her and hopefully hear that everything is fine! So far I haven't been having any side effects with the glucophage other than a bad taste in my mouth.. Whuch I've read is normal!

what is PCOS? Why are you so underweight? That is unhealthy! No wonder you don't have periods.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome .. Multiple cysts on your ovaries.. I'm insulin resistant and my body produces hormones in excess.. Lol, I'm not underweight by choice love, my family is just generally small. My mum was 95lbs after she had my brother. And I do get my periods.. Regularly.. What I meant was that a symptom of PCOS is irregular periods but I wasn't experiencing that as I get my periods every month.
