On my period for almost a month!! Help!!

I'm 18 and I've been on my period for almost a month now and I'm really worried. It started as light discharge for about a week and then the next week it became a light flow. I would wear a tampon for the full 8 hours and it wouldn't even fill up. Then the third week, the tampons would be completely full in about 7-8 hours so it still wasn't heavy at all. Now, I'm on the fourth week and I thought the flow was finally stopping but it came back today like it was in the third week!

I'm not on any birth control, I've never been pregnant, and I haven't had sex so I don't know what the problem could be. I don't get any cramps and no headaches or anything.

I don't know what to do! Someone please help!

Well, I'm no expert but I'd talk to your mom or another older woman who you trust I'd also probably call the doctor for an appointment, just to make sure nothing's really wrong. Sometimes bodies are just strange

I told my mom yesterday and asked her to make a doctor's appointment but the appointment won't be for at LEAST another two weeks... I'm really starting to get worried because it's been a month now and it's not showing any signs of ending... is there anything I can do in that time?
