I also believe herbs can be helpful, about a year ago I was taking Vitex to help with my period, it worked and my period came after three months of taking 3 a day but GNC stopped selling it. I order some from online and I'm sure they were the cause of my horrible pimples on my jawline. Ever since I stopped taking them I haven't had one since. I'm checking that out TCOTF but I promise to stay around here. I haven't even been here for a month and already I am feeling the support. Another site I was on for about a year, didn't really give me the support I wanted or needed. None on my post were ever answered so I ditch them and thankfully found this site.
"Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about."

There are a lot of herbs you can take that could help regulate your cycle... but its hard using them when it's to conceive... a lot of them aren't healthy to take or recommended to take while you're pregnant or trying to get pregnant. If I recall Vitex was one of those.. also Black Cohosh.

I haven't personally used Pre-Seed, but I know a lot of PCOS'ers who were using it whether they were on clomid or not.. just because regardless they rarely or at the wrong time would produce fertile quality CM. This is how they were trying to get around having to pay a few hundred bucks for a procedure like an IUI. It sounds like it does what it's designed to do. Definitely think it's worth looking into.

You can chart at any time in your cycle.. it doesn't have to be starting CD1 ... especially when you have that long of cycles. The sooner you chart, the sooner you'll have a sort of visual aid for what's going on, and the more info you can supply your doctor with.

Correction, the site is TCOYF not TOCTF. I just don't want you to have trouble finding it.

FortunsFoole has some good advice for you too, and it sounds like it comes from experience!

What you'll see when you start charting, most likely, is monophasic temps where the avg woman has biphasic temps. This is what makes you journey a little tougher, but definitely not impossible.

Can't wait to hear about all you learn and all your success!

Watch out buying herbals online, countless amounts of them have zero education in what they are doing and will send things that are not what they say they are just to gain some money which posses a lot of danger as herbals can land a person in the hospital if not taken correctly. If you are interested in herbs see someone who is certified to sell them that has knowledge of the product. There are usually many herbal or health shops in major city areas, watch out for the back alley type shops lol.

I wanted to add a little to what sort of chart pattern you might see that Beautiful Disaster mentioned. It's pretty common with PCOS to see a roller coaster effect going on your chart. Temps will be up and down all the time. Taking temps as soon as you wake up with minimal movement(I actually set an alarm every single day so it was always took my temp at the same time) and taking your temp vaginally, if you're comfortable with it, can help make the ups and down in the temps a little less extreme. I had days where there was almost a degree of difference, and I couldn't find any outside causes like weather, lack of blanket, time of day. At first, I would get ovulatory crosshairs only to take them away a few days later. It takes some time to get charting down and figure out what's normal for you.

If you and your RE decide to go ahead with fertility medication, your chart will probably look a lot more "normal".
