    More bleeding ? !

I took Provera and I had the widthdraw bleeding, I bleed for 10 days. It's been a little over a week since I stopped bleeding. I went to the bathroom, and out of the 3 times so far twice when I would wipe there was bright red blood. Not enough for a pad, I'm only using a pantie liner and hoping I can make it through my work day, I have four hours to go. Is this normal? Should I call my Doctor or wait to see what happens in a day or two?

I would wait... even though it's red.. that can be considered spotting since you don't need a pad/tampon for it.. which actually some people experience when they ovulate sometimes.... and as you were at... what.. CD17 or 18? Its possible that could be happening... I'm curious if it has gone away since yesterday?

No, It has not gone away. It's heavier today. I was thinking I ovulated too. I was also thinking that since Ionly had 10 days of BTBafter 2 years of nothing with Proverathat morejust needed out.Wednesday was CD 17 and this is just going by an app I use on my iPhone to keep track of my periods. I missed my ovulation date too but I thought BTB is not an actual period so I wasn't trying. Now I'm kind of bummed that I think I might of missed my chance of getting pregnant! But I also should have said that the day I spotted was the first day that I took Metformin but I only took 1 pill before I started spotting. Could that be the cause?

I want to say I was on metformin for 5 days?... This was during an already deemed "failed" cycle and was starting provera as well to end the cycle(the doc said provera was what made me ovulate... but I the only thing different that cycle was starting metformin and I ovulated late in the cycle and for the first time after starting it, I was also on a lower dose of clomid than I'd been on before). But it could totally be coincidence and the doctor knows better about this stuff than I do.

It could be that you had an extra thick lining. A lot of times with PCOS you don't have periods like as in a cycle... its just withdrawal bleeding... like the body decides "enough" and sheds the lining. The naturally low levels of progesterone in your body slowly builds up a lining.. but because there's no ovulation(or weak ovulation sometimes) theres little or no drop off in the levels of progesterone in your blood to signal your body to shed it's lining that comes naturally during an ovulatory cycle...

The good news is... either way.. if you ovulated you should get confirmation with a full on period in roughly a couple weeks.. and if it doesn't show up it probably wasn't ovulation... and any trying you do in the meantime will help cover the bases in case it does come around. If you DID ovulate... SWEET... major step right there and you will hopefully get another shot of it within the next month and you'll be better prepared for timing. :-D
