    Slight bleeding after sex

    Hi Everyone

I am sorry if there is a post like this one, I did look but couldnt see one.

My fiance and I have unprotected sex almost every day, a couple of times I have had bleeding after sex which was investigated with a smear test and biopsy in February this year all of which were normal.

In May I had slight bleeding every day after sex for 4 days and it was slightly painful, almost like my cervix was bruised I thought I may have been pregnant but then my period came. Everything has been normal again until today, I am not due my period for 9 days but today after we had sex I had very slight bleeding again, and for a couple of hours after lower back ache and mild period like pains. There was no bleeding after and no staining on my underwear

My periods are regular, no change in the heaviness and not particularly painful but every time I get this bleeding I get really worried about what could be causing it. Any ideas would be really appreciated.

    Thank you

Is your husband hitting your cervix very hard during sex? That could be causing it - nothing to worry about as it seems to happen to most women every now and then. Try to have very gentle sex the next few times and see if that helps the problem.

Also, are you trying to conceive?

Thank you, I am not sure if he is hitting my cervix, I guess he could be.

We have been having unprotected sex for a long time but only the last few months around the time I ovulate as we decided that we would like to have a baby, I already have two older children myself.
