    2 periods in 1 month?

I have been noticing this the last couple of months. I'll have my regualr once a month peroid, and it'll last anywhere from 5-7 days. But then a week or so after it ends, I'll have another peroid. It veryies from the flow. It lasts from a day to a few days. My mom says its not normal, but I'm not ready to go to a gyno about it. I have once and she said that she had had lots of girls coming in the month about two in a month and said it was ok but if it happened more than once, to come back. I don't have a "bad" gut feeling about this. Anyone have an oppinion?

That happened to me my freshman year. For about 6 months straight, I was having a period twice a month. Like once every two weeks. It never concerned me. I never once missed a period. But eventually it stopped. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Lots of girls have irregular periods. But if it really bothers you or gets too heavy, you should talk to a doctor.

The only thing I'm worried about is that it may decrease my chances of having kids or something. I know it's probably nothing bad, but I'm kinda worried about it...
