i just got my period and i dont want to use pads because they are so uncomfortable, i would like to use tampons, the problem is im using a slim tampon but i cant get it to fit, i am relaxing and putting it in the right place, it looks like the whole is too small, what am i gonna do if its too small for every tampon?!

Keep trying with the small tampons you will get used to them eventually.I think i was about 30 when i got used to them and i'm now in my 40' i like Tampax better than Lilletts and would never change to other brands

I Hear ya

This happened to me once and I thought it was the end of the world...wet it a little. That's what I did. I put a little water on it to make it softer and than it worked. The other thing that I did was switch to a different applicator (plastic one). Hope this advice helps!

Plastic applicaters tend to slide in easier, or you could put a tiny bit of vasaline on the tip. That's what I did when I first started using them

i am using everything like vaseline, this time i got it mostly in but i couldnt get the last part of it in, im using reallllllllly mini ones, like the smallest ones on the market.. it hurt lots just to get it that far. =(
