Yeast infection wont go away ! : (

hey everyone, I am Mandy and new to this. so I been having a yeast infection for a month now..did everything...first started the monistat, that didnt make it go away...i was on difflucan for a week or like 8 days...it helped my itching it seems, but I still just have that discharge ( no more cottage cheese) It never burned or was painful, but now it feels kinda better but doesnt look better...hmmm. SO i googled online and found out that garlic and that organic apple cider vinegar kills yeast...so im on day 2 with that,so I hope that helps. Im not sexually active so not that. I would call the doc but its labor day lol and ill have to wait ...i also saw a light blue ( kinda like a vein look) on the outside of my vag, but looks a lil better now and also seemed like a blue ish tint in the discharge yesterday... so any ideas?why is it not going away?? Thanks

If nobody replies, it generally means nobody has an answer. This kind of thing is impossible to fix via internet consultation - since the holiday weekend is now over, you'll need to see your doctor.

        Yeast Infection No More

I was getting infections all the time and they would last forever. My Gyno recommended a book with several helpful hints to treat and prevent yeast infections. I tried it and a few habit changes and changes in my diet made them stop. You can get the book here *removed outbound link*

Let me know if it works for you too!

I've heard of using non-flavored yogurt and dipping a tampon in it...inserting the tampon inside your vagina and taking it our right away. Apparently there is a culture in yogurt that fights off the yeast from a yeast infection. My doctor said to eat yogurt on a daily basis and this will help also. You need to get yogurt that has "active cultures" in it. Very good for the lady parts, lol
