I am 24 year old and am having irregular periods from last 2 mnths (45 & 36 days). Alongwith this am suffering from acute pain in lower abdomen. I visited doctor she suggested me 4 ultrasound.

Ultrasound will show any abnormalities, cysts and such that can cause irregular periods. Nothing serious to worry about and it doesn't hurt

Ultrasound isn't painful, the nurse would apply a gel on your lower abdomen and move the ultrasound device. If the results are normal, that is no cysts, then you can check with your doctor for a pcod test.Comment
