    2 month long period

I have been bleeding for nearly two months. It's been really light and mostly brownish, but occasionally it looks like a normal period. It will not stop!
I can't afford to go to a normal doctor, and I'm getting kinda scared. Anyone else have experience like this? What should I do?

When I was in high school I had a period for 6 months straight. I've had abnormal periods my whole life, except for the past year and a half - 2 years. You should go to a doctor, because it's possible you have PCOS. But also, birth control is the normal thing they use to regulate periods.

yes, you should go to a doctor, a family planning center will and usually does have BC and exams and such for free or for people without insurance/money. Look it up and see if there is one in your area that you could go to. I would also recommend talking to your mom or someone else that you trust about this as well. Mine have always been irregular too and BC helped me, I'm not on BC now but I have been in the past. I def. know how you feel.. ((hugs))

BC didn't help me. They just randomly regulated on their own for no reason. Except for last month and this month. Last month it started 2 days early, and then this month I was having something weird to me lol.
