Its normal...Every woman has a normal amount of discharge. Before your period it gets thicker. You need to see a doctor if it smells, or has a yellow/green tinge to it. Otherwise, no reason to worry.Comment

You can't decide whether a woman is ovulating based solely on discharge. If you want to know when she is ovulating, she should purchase a thermometer that detects temperature to a second decimal point (98.67 instead of just 98.7) and take her temperature every morning before getting out of bed. If she writes down this information every day and learns the pattern, she can find out where in her cycle ovulation occurs and learn a pattern.
