Brown Discharge and on the pill
OK so i need help. Bear with my story! Ok so I got my period about a month ago, about a week after I started to have brown discharge and then bleeding. This went on up until now! after my last period I started my birth control, I am now on the inactive pills and I am having this same random brown and blood discharge. I am supposed to have my period now but it is the same as it has been for the past two weeks... what could it be? I am just concerned it is something abnormal.. Also it is enough to use a tampon. If i insert the tampon and take it right back out there is brown already on the tampon. Thanks! I am worried -
On most birthcontrol it says you could have random bleeding inbetween. I think it's fine. Go talk to your doctor if you are that worried.
What I say to myself and friends on BC and I or they have weird effects, we put hormones into our bodies, we're messing up their natural cycles, we cannot expect for everything to be "perfect" or "normal".
My friend was on the pill due to constant bleeding. I think hers sounded a bit worse than yours. But what she had done was one of those things, idk the name, but they scrape everything out of your vaginal area. I think they are done for women who have had abortions and or miscarriages.
Hope it gets better

Brown is simply old blood or uterine lining without the blood. It can happen before or after your period. If it happens before your period it simply means it is the shed uterine lining without the blood. It is entirely normal. The pill can stop your periods from happening completely from month to month, it may be like clockwork one month with the constant bleeding for a week or it can be completely void of blood the next month with only some of the brown discharge. It is normal.
The inactive pills during your pack are the time it is suppose to give you a period so it is again normal to expect blood or only the brown discharge during that time. And if the discharge happens prior to your period then it is simply your body getting ready to have the period and in which case the brown material can be discharged. It is normal. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
