I'll be 22 next month, and usually my period has two to three months between them.

This time I'm bleeding very lite, but it's continuous. Around the 10th day it stopped but then started up again the next day. The last couple days it's been getting steadily heavier.

I've never had sex, and I don't feel much different then usual. I am very annoyed, and wish it would stop.

Could something be wrong?

I know that naturally it's not suppose to be 20 days. Are you on anything? I know there are some drugs that women take to make your period only come 3-4 times a year.

Thank you for your reply. No, the only thing I take is the occasional pain reliever.

My suggestion is to go see a doctor. If you don't have insurance, then go to a free clinic. I know it does happen that periods go on for 20+ days, but that usually means that something is wrong and help is needed.
